For the first time with MxSwitch, MOBOTIX offers a 4-way PoE+ switch with auxiliary functions. The compact dimensions of the top-hat rail module make it easy to quickly install into any electrical cabinet.

MOBOTIX’s new MxSwitch can be used to directly connect and power up to four MOBOTIX Door Stations, cameras or other PoEPoE+ devices. In addition to four PoE+ ports with a total maximum output of 75 watts and the uplink port with no PoE power supply, MxSwitch offers further technical features that make connecting and powering a complete MOBOTIX Door Station particularly easy. With the integrated MxSplit technology, for example, four of the eight wires (or two of the four wire pairs) of the Ethernet connection cable for a Door Station can be used as a two-wire connection cable for the electromagnetic anti-theft protection, located in the frame of the Door Station, and as a two- wire connection cable for the MxBus.
