MOBOTIX AG, a leading manufacturer of digital high-resolution, network-based video security systems is endorsing the launch of RemoteGUARD, Europe’s first Secure Remote Monitoring Solution designed exclusively to help MOBOTIX channel partners deliver enhanced security services.

Developed by IPX Support Services Limited, RemoteGUARD Europe offers a high-resolution remote security solution to protect staff, customers and premises. Using a highly customisable policy engine, RemoteGUARD offers a “pay per use” model and allows any MOBOTIX Partner to extend advanced remote monitoring cover to either existing or new customers using MOBOTIX devices.

The new RemoteGUARD.eu service is based on an established system popular in Australia that for the last two years has successfully protected hundreds of sites. RemoteGUARD has been tested extensively with the full range of MOBOTIX systems and is a trusted brand across the region.

“RemoteGUARD is designed to integrate seamlessly with any MOBOTIX installation to offer a comprehensive yet flexible solution for remote site monitoring and access control,” explains Ronan Barrett, Managing Director for IPX Support Services Limited, “By taking advantage of features pioneered by MOBOTIX such as decentralised CCTV, built in analytics and two way audio; we are able to deliver a state of the art CCTV monitoring solution that is extremely powerful with a minimal monthly commitment.”

Each RemoteGUARD installation can be easily tailored by MOBOTIX partners and end customers. Sites can have different monitoring criteria for each camera based around time, day and escorting procedures. The system can perform regular patrols or verification based on triggers such as Passive Infrared Detection, Audible sounds, Entry point activation, alarms and motion events.

“RemoteGUARD is an incredibly innovative solution that will allow MOBOTIX Partners to offer a comprehensive remote monitoring and access control solution that generates recurring revenue without expensive CAPEX or OPEX investment,” explains, Dominic Chapman, Business Development Manager for MOBOTIX UK & Ireland, “The system takes advantage of the full range of MOBOTIX features and is delivered by a highly respected partner from EN50132 certified regional monitoring centres.”

Customers benefit from a “pay per use” model with full reporting capabilities to provide details of events, site patrols, camera access times, data usage and operator notes. The highly flexible system can be configured within a short lead time to allow customers to extend coverage based on scheduled site activities and risk profiles.

“It is important to clarify that RemoteGUARD.eu is aimed at the MOBOTIX Partner community and we do not sell directly to end user customers,” explains Barrett, “The solution is designed to allow MOBOTIX Partners to offer new value added services with the confidence and resources of a dedicated Secure Remote CCTV Monitoring centre designed to support the extended features of the entire MOBOTIX range.”
