Voting is now open for the PSI Premier Awards and IDIS is asking its technology partners and installers to show their support by choosing both the HE-1101 HDMI/VGA Video Encoder and Critical Failover technology.

With these two IDIS innovations through to this year’s final, installers are being asked cast votes for their preferred winner at on their website. Both IDIS products have been praised for helping installers to deliver more flexible, robust surveillance solutions to customers and helping to make sites more secure.

Users can choose from the option of totally license free video management software (VMS), IDIS Center, or the advanced and modular, enterprise-level IDIS Solution Suite

Integrated management

Nominated in the CCTV Product of the year 2018 category, the HE-1101 allows operators to oversee multiple applications all from a single monitor by simply connecting hardware that has a VGA or HDMI output.

So, in practice, as businesses grow or adapt to evolving threats, this innovative encoder allows them to manage everything, including video, access control, building management, intruder, fire and point of sale (PoS) systems, from a single user interface.

Users can choose from the option of totally license free video management software (VMS), IDIS Center, or the advanced and modular, enterprise-level IDIS Solution Suite.

Critical Failover technology

In the Software/Signaling Product 2018 category, IDIS Critical Failover provides a high level of protection for surveillance solutions, preventing loss of vital recorded data during a range of fault conditions.

Critical Failover automatically steps in to ensure continued image recording in the event of network instability, network failure, storage failure, recorder hardware failure and power supply failure, in each case ensuring that no data is lost.

It is installers and integrators who choose the winners in the PSI Premier awards and that makes it especially pleasing that two innovative IDIS products have been nominated,” says James Min, Managing Director, IDIS Europe.

We continually work with our installer partners, listening to what they want, as we develop and improve our technology. These awards reflect these vital relationships.”, he adds.
