IDIS debuts its ‘Create a better world’ campaign with an uplifting new video at ISC West 2019

On the first day of ISC West, IDIS debuted ‘Create a Better World,’ a new North American public service campaign from the surveillance technology manufacturer, with an uplifting new video posted in conjunction with the rollout of the South Korean manufacturer’s expanded IDIS America social media presence. Additionally, the company will highlight the new campaign during the show, in booth #18059, with promotions and giveaways.

As described on the company’s official campaign page, ‘Create a Better World’ is ‘all about the kindness and generosity ‘caught on camera’ every day, positive attributes so easy to overlook in these stressful times,’ and the many ways we all can do our part to create a kinder, warmer, better world.

Local community organisations

IDIS ‘Create a Better World’ campaign incorporates engagement with the communities IDIS serves

In addition to the video, with its unique call to action to encourage public participation, the IDIS ‘Create a Better World’ campaign incorporates engagement with the communities IDIS serves, including corporate donations of equipment and time, partnerships with local community organisations, and highlight additional activities and social engagement from IDIS at all levels designed to lead by example, and help ‘Create a Better World’ in the process.

The ‘Create a Better World’ video debuted on the new IDIS America Facebook page, an expansion of the company’s social media presence and new channel to speak directly to IDIS customers, partners, and the marketplace in the Americas.

Improving the world

The new IDIS America Facebook page will focus on the priorities, requirements, issues, and pain points of systems integrators, installers, and end-users across vertical markets in the Americas, and currently highlights a new promotion tied to the new ‘Create a Better World’ call to action.

IDIS has grown to become the largest manufacturer of video surveillance technology within South Korea

As outlined in the video—which enters the first 1,000 followers of the IDIS America page who also participate in the ‘Create A Better World’ campaign by sharing their own uplifting story, photo, or video with the hashtag #IDISBetterWorld in a drawing to win a Smart Home Starter Pack. Additionally, when 1,000 followers are reached, IDIS America will reveal the next community organisation to receive a donated IDIS surveillance solution as part of the company’s commitment to improving the world around them.

Networked surveillance systems

Visitors to booth #18059 at ISC West can further engage, and walk away with a Starbucks gift card and an additional chance to win the Smart Home Starter pack.

Founded in 1997 by experts in computer science and artificial intelligence, IDIS has grown to become the largest manufacturer of video surveillance technology within South Korea and a pioneer in industry innovation, anchored by the company’s flagship DirectIP offering—a true plug-and-play solution that eliminates the complexity of installing and operating networked surveillance systems, and extending through to the modular, feature-rich IDIS Solution Suite software and IDIS latest Deep Learning Engine-powered analytics.
