About IDIS

IDIS is global leader in the design, development and manufacture of advanced end-to-end video solutions for a range of private and public sector sectors.

Now the largest video surveillance manufacturer in South Korea, headquartered just outside Seoul, IDIS operates across 50 countries and 100 strategic partners with regional head offices in Dallas, Dubai and London.

Celebrating over two decades of innovation, IDIS continues to build its reputation as an end-to-end solutions provider with more than two million recorders installed worldwide and over 16.5 million cameras using its advanced technology.

With more than 10% of turnover reinvested annually in research and development and through close collaboration with integrators and end-users IDIS focuses on innovations that customers really want. Its solutions are flexible and scalable, delivering unrivalled performance, resilience and a low total cost of ownership.

For example, its new generation analytics solutions — including VA in the Box and IDIS Deep Learning Analytics (IDLA) — have been designed to let customers harness the operational benefits of artificial intelligence without the cost and complexity.

As a service module within the popular IDIS Solution Suite video management platform, IDLA enables robust and calibration-free object detection and classification (objects such as people, cars, and bicycles) intrusion and loitering detection. The latest version is more accurate, faster, and more scalable than all previous releases, achieving a ground-breaking 96% Mean Average Precision (MAP) accuracy level with the ability to analyse up to 32 channels simultaneously when implemented with the latest high-powered graphics card. The high accuracy of the IDLA means its less prone false alarms, whilst powerful search options improve incident investigation.

IDIS is trusted by multi-national organisations and global brands across the world with the company’s technology applied in a range of market sectors including banking, critical infrastructure, healthcare, government, retail, hotels & leisure and transportation. Major projects include two of the 2018 World Cup Stadiums in Russia, a UK national rollout at Costa Coffee, PostNL in the Netherlands, National Commerical Bank in Saudi, MediaCom, Southern NHS Trust, River Island, and Starbucks in Russia.
