Mayflex: Richard Townsend joins as Account Manager for Converged Technology

Mayflex, the distributor of Converged IP Solutions, has appointed Richard Townsend in the role of Account Manager for Converged Technology with an emphasis on IP Security.  

Richard joins Mayflex from Comelit, where he served as a Business Development Manager. Prior to that he has worked at Kidde Safety as an Area Sales Manager.

Francesco Bellavia, Director of Sales for Security at Mayflex, commented, "We are delighted to welcome Richard to the team. With his experience in the fire and security market, he understands the typical requirements of our customer base. Richard has the right attitude and the desire to learn, making him a perfect fit for the Mayflex team. He will be predominantly covering accounts in the South East."

He adds: "Richard will be getting up to speed and then selling and supporting the full range of security products, including Avigilon Unity, Avigilon Alta and, Axis, Hikvision, Milestone, Mobotix, Paxton, Pelco, Secure Logiq, Suprema and Veracity. Additionally, he will offer a full suite of infrastructure products from Excel to provide customers with a total installation solution."
