Hikvision ranked no.13 in Security 50

 

 The company is ranked No. 3 in revenue growth

For the third consecutive year, Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the leading supplier of digital video surveillance products with the headquarters in China, has been enlisted in Security 50, a market survey to recognize the top 50 security companies around the world by revenue.  With the increase in revenue by $70 million from 2006 to 2007, which is 68.5 percent growth, Hikvision is ranked No. 13 in 2008 Security 50, which is a frog leap from last year's No. 21.  The company is also ranked No. 3 in revenue growth among the 50 top security players, and No. 5 in 2008 Asia Security 25, which is the first time for the media to recognize the top security players in Asia.

Security 50 is conducted by A&S Magazine, a prime security media group.  Based on financial performance of top security professionals in CCTV, digital surveillance, access control, and alarm/intercom market sectors, the ranking has built up the platform to probe developing trends, gather insightful views and create positive communication for the security industry.  It has shown that innovation, cost effectiveness, enhancement in product performance, and customer relations are the keys to growth in the market.
