Exacq Technologies, part of the Security Products business unit of Tyco, a leading manufacturer of video management system (VMS) software and servers used for video surveillance, has released version 5.10 of its exacqVision VMS software for use with the company’s network video surveillance systems. The latest version introduces support for exacqVision ESM, expanded two-way audio functionality, new and updated IP camera integrations and more.

Version 5.10 adds support for the new exacqVision ESM (Enterprise System Manager) product sold separately from Exacq Technologies. The ESM server software monitors the health and status of exacqVision servers and cameras on the network. Users can access the intuitive ESM interface through most web browsers running on a computer or mobile device. With the ESM application, exacqVision users instantly receive an email notification in the event of a system error or warning, resulting in maximum uptime of servers and reduced software maintenance time. ESM is supported on exacqVision systems with an exacqVision Enterprise VMS license. This includes an IP camera utilising the exacqVision Edge software which allows it to operate as both an IP camera and an exacqVision server.

exacqVision 5.10 expands the two-way audio feature to include support for IP cameras from Axis and Arecont Vision. End users now have a number of different ways to communicate with people on their property by using the resources on their exacqVision VMS network.

Over 150 new camera models are now supported from the exacqVision VMS with the release of Version 5.10. The software now integrates with over 1,650 IP cameras. This release adds direct driver support for new cameras from Axis, Arecont Vision, Samsung, Sony, Hikvision, Ganz and Pelco as well as support for the new Illustra Flex and Illustra iAPI3 line of IP cameras from American Dynamics. Additionally, a number of new cameras are now supported via the ONVIF driver. A complete list of supported cameras can be found on the Exacq web site.
