Davis, Director, Intellectual Property, at HID, will be the programme chair for the Data Protection Track that will be featured at the CARTES & IDentification 2009 event. Held from the 17th to 19th November at Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, this world-leading forum focuses on digital security and smart technologies with an emphasis on future applications related to mobile payment, home automation, remote management and geolocation.

As the second year programme chair for this conference, as well as a previous presenter, Davis will serve as the moderator and offer his perspective on the day's presentations focusing on two of RFID's most popular issues - security and privacy. Data Protection conference programme attendees will gain valuable insight into the techniques and strategies to mitigate both the risks and consequences of data security and privacy breeches.
