The offering combines the security of Harmony Series access control with the ease and durability of 56- electric latch retraction
Harmony Series H1 and H2 exit devices are with 56- electric latch retraction

SARGENT Manufacturing Company a market leader in locksets, cylinders, door closers, and related products, and ASSA ABLOY Group company, will be exhibiting its Harmony Series H1 and H2 exit devices with 56- electric latch retraction, which brings fast, quiet operation to high-traffic egress doors.

Offered in ET trim as well as a variety of pull trims, 56- electric latch retraction ensures fast, quiet operation as well as energy efficiency. Ideal for high-traffic egress doors, these exit devices are ideal for offices, conference rooms, convention halls, theaters, libraries and healthcare facilities. Driven by motor instead of solenoid, electricity savings per activation can easily exceed 50 percent.

The new offering combines the exceptional security and aesthetics of Harmony Series access control with the ease and durability of 56- electric latch retraction. The electrified latch is retracted for controlled access when a valid credential is presented to the integrated reader. The latch can also be electrically dogged for continuous push/pull operation.

Harmony H1 and H2 exit devices are available in 8900 Mortise, 8800 Rim, 8700 Surface Vertical rod (SVR), and 8600 Concealed Vertical Rod (CVR) exit device configurations. With all components consolidated into the lock, installation time is reduced significantly compared to traditional access control installations. The H1 series supports HID 125 kHz proximity credentials and the H2 incorporates HID iCLASS 13.56 MHz contactless smart card credentials.

ASSA ABLOY will be located at booth #2312 during ASIS 2011 in Orlando, Florida.
