Aperio is a wireless platform that connects additional openings to an existing electronic access control system
Aperio offers easy integration with most manufacturers' electronic access control systems

At ASIS 2011, ASSA ABLOY showcased its Aperio wireless technology deployed across a broad range of locking solutions. Aperio wireless technology is available in the SARGENT Profile Series and Incepta Series locks, Adams Rite eForce narrow stile locks, Medeco eCylinders, and HES cabinet locks.

Aperio is a global, wireless platform that provides an easy, affordable way to connect additional openings to an existing electronic access control system. It uses short-distance wireless communication (IEEE 802.15.4) between the lock and an Aperio hub to link to an electronic access control system. This simplifies installation, reducing costs and complexity compared to traditional access control.

Designed for effective operation and quick, easy wireless deployment, the Aperio system eliminates the need for complex site surveys and requires minimal field configuration. With real-time authentication and alarms, Aperio uses AES 128-bit wireless encryption and supports HID 125 kHz prox or 13.56 MHz iCLASS credentials with full authentication in all formats.

Aperio offers easy integration with most manufacturers' electronic access control systems. With over 40 access control partners that have already adopted the technology globally, facilities can easily extend the number of doors that can be monitored with their currently installed panels and systems.
