To better serve consumer users, Dahua Technology, a solutions provider in the global video surveillance industry, released its H.265 Consumer Series products earlier this year. It is now available to most of its markets globally. Below are the details about 2 selected cameras - the indoor cube model C26 and the Pan&Tilt model A26.

Staying connected to the home

In an era when people are at home less and less often, they are in urgent need of a way to stay connected to it. The Dahua A26/C26 came along to solve the problem. The C26 supports intelligent Human Detection and instant alert, keeping consumers aware of what is going on at home any time they want. The Smart Tracking feature of the A26/A46 automatically tracks and keeps tracking any moving objects around the camera.

Feature Highlights

  • Fluent High-resolution Video based upon H.265.

With 2MP image sensor, A26/C26 delivers crystal clear image. The latest H.265 compression saves up to 50% bandwidth and storage, eliminating users’ worry about the network bandwidth or storage while enjoying better video.

  • Cloud Services through Easy4ip App

With an Easy4ip cloud account, users can access their camera through a smart phone as long as Internet is available. They can record daily or motion videos on Easy4ip Cloud and play them back anytime, anywhere. Also, Dahua’s Easy4ip platform supports IFTTT, which enables Dahua cameras to interact with other smart home applications, including Philippe Hue and Amazon Alexa.

  • Instant Alert via Motion Detection

With a home surveillance camera that supports motion detection, users can rest assure that whenever a motion event happens, the cameras will be triggered and send them a message to let them know.

  • 24/7 Protection with Dahua Smart IR LED

With high-quality IR LED and Dahua Smart IR algorithm the camera automatically switches night mode on and off, and can adjust the brightness of the IR LED automatically when the light condition changes - so even in complete darkness you can see the video clearly.

  • Two-way Audio

Dahua Indoor Wi-Fi Cameras support built-in Mic and Speaker, so all the recorded motion or daily videos are with vivid audio, and they support Two-way Talk. When someone breaks in you’ll receive an alarm alert in real time, and you can remotely tell the intruder to “GET OUT”. Users can also communicate with their child or pet while looking at them.

A26 and C26 specifications

A26 supports 355° Pan &90° Tilt and can rotate to see in all directions with no blind points

A26 supports 355° Pan &90° Tilt and can rotate to see in all directions with no blind points. Smart Tracking based upon advanced tracking algorithm enables the camera to automatically focus on and follow moving objects in both horizontal and vertical way, even when the camera is installed on the ceiling.

The C26, with super-wide 130° horizontal field of view, enables you to see a whole room through 1 camera, and with the magnetic base it can be stuck to any metal surface. With Human Detection based upon powerful image processing technology, C26 detects people by recognising human heads, greatly reducing false alerts to situations such as falling leaves and light change.

Home application

There are many occasions when people are away from home but want to keep in touch with their family. If you have a baby or a pet, you want to be able to talk to them and see them. When the whole family is travelling, empty apartments are left at risk of theft and burglary. Now with Dahua’s A26/C26, family communication and home safety will be considerably enhanced

Shop application

Shops contain many goods and people, which means there is a lot at stake. A26/C26 cameras enable shopkeepers to notice almost all situations through just 1 camera without as many false alerts.

Dahua launched A26/C26 cameras to enhance the connection of people to their homes. With the latest H.265 compression, A26/C26 cameras deliver crystal clear image without users worrying about storage space and network bandwidth. And with Intelligent functions like Human Detection and Smart Tracking, Dahua keeps on making home safety much easier.
