Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China, today officially announced the launch of HCVR 7000-4M series.

HCVR 7000-4M series is the latest generation digital video recorder series adopting HDCVI technology and allowing long-distance HD transmission at low cost. This series support up to 16 channels of HDCVI/CVBS inputs, 8 channels IP camera, 16 channels local live-view channels, and 16 playback channels.

Powerful performance

The HCVR supports 4+2, 8+4, 16+8 IP camera input, and each channel is up to 5MP HD resolution (2560 x 1920) for recording and live viewing. The HDCVI/CVBS Auto-detect function can auto-recognise the signal of front-camera without any setting. It makes operation more user friendly and convenient. Smart H.264+ saves up to 70% bandwidth and storage space without any change on the cameras. HCVR7000-4M series can achieve 4K HDCVI access through the firmware upgrade in future.

Intelligent functions

With built-in IVS (Intelligent Video System), the HCVR 7000-4M series have the ability to detect and analyse moving objects. The HCVR provides optional standard intelligence at the edge allowing detection of multiple object behaviours such as abandoned or missing objects. IVS also supports Tripwire analytics, allowing the camera to detect when a pre-determined line has been crossed. In addition, these series simultaneously support other intelligent functions such as face detection and smart search.

Designed as a cost effective and easy installation product, this HCVR is ideal for a wide range of applications such as public safety, retail store, transportation, home protection and education. It is compatible with numerous third-party devices that making it a perfect solution for surveillance systems with or without a video management system (VMS).
