BCDVideo, a global manufacturer of IP video recording and access control products, recently announced the release of their newest Rigid Series product line, designed for outdoor recording in any environment. This new fan-less technology holds up to 4TB of video storage and is powered by an Intel® Core™ processor.

The Rigid Series includes models that offer POE, 3G, W-Fi, and GPS connectivity.

The units are perfect for a wide range of mobile applications and installations in harsh environments.

“Integrators have been tasked more and more to provide a solution for the outdoors environment, and not necessarily limited to in-vehicle or harsh climates. Water treatment facilities, power utility facilities, park districts, and even parking lots are in play. What makes our Rigid Series unique is the high-end Intel processor and Microsoft operating system. This enabled us to and validate the product for video applications for all of the major VMS manufacturers, and ensure they work in harmony with our core video recording platform products,” states Tom Larson, BCDVideo’s Director of Sales and Engineering.

BCDVideo’s Rigid Series are built to order and include a two-year warranty.

The units meet MIL-STD-810G vibration and shock compliance, as well as FCC Class A, and RoHS standards.

BCDVideo’s 4TB BCD-RGD-5570-7C includes 8 POE ports.
