BCDVideo, the premier enterprise-quality, purpose-built IP video storage solutions provider, announced the signing of an Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) agreement with Dell EMC OEM Solutions. The collaboration enhances BCDVideo’s robust product portfolio with the inclusion of end-to-end solutions featuring Dell EMC Server, Storage, and Networking platforms, along with Dell commercial client products.

As the market leader in data storage and server solutions, Dell EMC has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing security integrators unparalleled access to a wide range of best-in-class technologies. Entering an OEM agreement with BCDVideo reinforces that commitment.

IP video security market

Security integrators and their customers are looking for end-to-end solutions that feature integrated technologies throughout the IT stack,” said Ron Pugh, vice president and general manager for the Americas, Dell EMC OEM Solutions. “Both Dell and BCDVideo have each made significant investments that line up extremely well to take on the tremendous opportunities in the IP video security market. We’re excited about collaborating with BCDVideo in delivering these security solutions.”

Our vision is to provide security integrators around the world access to the state-of-the-art IP video recording and storage solutions"

According to IHS Markit, the global enterprise and IP storage market is are projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 24.2% between 2016 and 2021, however, the need for high-capacity storage for high-resolution images has been a restraint in the overall market growth. With the declining cost of IP cameras enabling end-users to easily shift from traditional analogue to IP-based systems, security integrator demand for video storage has never been greater.

OEM agreement

Our vision is to provide security integrators around the world access to the state-of-the-art IP video recording and storage solutions they demand,” said Jeff Burgess, CEO of BCDVideo. “This new collaboration with Dell EMC intensifies our product portfolio.”

As the global enterprise and IP storage market continues to grow, the newly established OEM agreement between BCDVideo and Dell EMC will provide security integrators with the storage solutions they need while offering the personalised service and support that makes BCDVideo the most trusted name in purpose-built IP video storage solutions.
