The DCIR is an infrared remote control allowing the "On Screen Menu" set-up, the monitors and cameras recall and the alarms handling for SM matrix series. The matrix control is performed through a serial RS485 communication line while another RS485 line allows an independent management of telemetry. The DCIR can fully control the following receiver driver: DTMRX2, MICRODEC485, DTRX3. The remote control can manage up to 999 of the above receivers to control preset, autopan, patrol and auxiliary functions like wiper control, with the receiver-driver DTRX3. The DCIR is usually fed by the matrix over 700 m. The infrared receiver is located on the base of the DCIR.
