Search and Rescue, Military, and Law Enforcement agencies need to be able to monitor their coastlines and economic exclusive zones effectively to keep their borders and those who use the seas legitimately, safe. Many nations are currently seeking to upgrade and develop those platforms that serve them in the Maritime Domain, from Patrol Planes and Helicopters to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Satellites. Maritime Surveillance and Reconnaissance Technology 2016 will be held in Rome from the 15th-16th of February. It aims to provide, industry leaders, Maritime Surveillance and Reconnaissance project managers, and end users the knowledge and contacts they need to further develop their capabilities in Maritime Domain Awareness.
