Kipod SMS has instant video content search across big data from any web browser and mobile device

Kipod cloud video analytics platform was developed as potential system for smart city concept, as it provides surveillance on the country level and works as a united system, connecting 100,000 users to 400,000 cameras.

Carrier class features

What differentiates Kipod SMS from the majority of video management systems is a number of important features, such as:

  • instant video content search across big data from any web browser and mobile device
  • scalability beyond 1M users, 1M cameras and 1M GB (1 exabyte) video storage
  • tier 3 availability with full redundancy and background software updates
  • open source software infrastructure (Linux, Kubernetes, Cassandra and Ceph)

Easy and convenient access

The operators (police, custom services, etc.) will be able to get the access to the system from both Internet browsers and mobile devices, which provides convenient workflow and enables the users to timely react on any alarm events, since the system sends notification to mobile device in case any kind of unwanted action is happening. The system also works on different platforms (Windows, Linux) and runs on both Android and Apple devices.

Artificial neuron systems

SMS offers face recognition module which is based on deep learning neural networks. The module is able to recognize faces and notify the user whenever an unrecognized face appears in the detector or, on the contrary, if a certain face appears. In addition the module sends notification if a person attempts to hide his or her face.
