Media representatives covering the ASIS show this October are invited to see up-close and first-hand how wireless video surveillance is a valuable tool to help law enforcement fight crime in Dallas, the host city for the ASIS International 56th Annual Seminar and Exhibits. The Dallas installation has been in operation since 2007 and is currently one of the nation's largest all-wireless public video surveillance systems.

What: Tour of Police Command Centre Highlighting Wireless Video Surveillance System
When: Monday, October 11, the day before the ASIS show, from 1.30 to 4 p.m.

  • OnSSI, supplier of Intelligent IP video surveillance software for Dallas
  • Firetide, supplier of wireless infrastructure mesh networks for IP video surveillance for Dallas
  • BearCom, the solutions provider that designed and installed the Dallas system.

The tour will visit the Downtown Dallas Business District, Arts District, and Uptown Dallas area en route to Dallas Police headquarters, where a visit to the Police Command Centre will highlight the camera system and the Dallas Police Department's impressive results using video to fight crime.
