The popular 4900 series PLC controller with a single I/O module handles 8-inputs and 4-outputs and can be expanded to accommodate 256-inputs and 256-outputs. Its modular design enables control of any sized door interlock project with standard input/output modules and expansion relay modules providing cost-effective configurations for most mantrap designs. Standard modules and special programmed logic can be combined to provide custom solutions. Dortronics Systems, Inc. designed the 4900 series to be compatible with any access control system or standard manual switch controls. It can be used with any electrically operated locking devices to control automatic door operators, air misting/purge systems, LEDs for traffic indicators and monitoring controls.
Also on display at ISC West is Dortronics' 3300 series electric strikes, built to hold tight with a 1,000-lb. pull test rating and a stainless steel jaw and strike plate. The popular series is compatible with most aluminium frame cut-outs, is UL listed and is furnished with an ANSI strike plate which is suitable for most hollow metal door frames. The strikes are also furnished with a 9-inch-tall strike plate for installation on many wood door frames and can accommodate a deep door latch keeper.
