Hikvision Mobile DVR wins Prague Fire & Security Days Award 2010
DS-8104HMI-B mobile DVR is ideal for public transit, armored vehicles, police, ambulance and fire fighters
Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the leading supplier of digital video surveillance products, has announced that its DS-8104HMI-B mobile DVR won the FSDays (Prague Fire & Security Days) Award at FSDays 2010, an international fair showing the latest trends in fire-fighting and security technologies, systems and services, which was held from September 21 to 23 in the Czech Republic.

By combining the TI's high-performance DaVinci processors and advanced H.264 video codec, Hikvision DS-8104HMI-B mobile DVR delivers rock-solid reliability and high-definition video in real-time. Complete mobile surveillance can be achieved with this mobile DVR by recording in the field and transmitting footage directly to central control via a 3G module. The product blends attractive and portable design as well as features such as patented premium anti-vibration technology for stable playback and two 2.5" pluggable SATA cages for storage. The DS-8104HMI-B mobile DVR is ideal for public transit, armored vehicles, police, ambulance and fire fighters.

According to the official statement from the organiser: "Hikvision's mobile DVR received one of the four special awards from the expert committee which consisted of 11 Czech security & fire experts from both the private and governmental sector. The product itself has been highly acclaimed by senior police, the Prague municipality, Fire HQ representatives, designers and industry experts. The Czech police and Fire Ministry are now seriously interested in giving the product a trial in their rescue trucks."
