Axis, the world leader in network video, now announces the first products with H.264 in a new generation of network video products - cameras, encoders and video management software - that offer: simplified deployment and management of large-scale video surveillance systems; more cost-efficient system solutions; and higher image quality and optimised video streams. Features include H.264 compression, multiple individual video streams, local video storage and built-in intelligence which all add great value to any professional video surveillance application. Lighting specialists Derwent designed and developed the AEGIS range of illuminators which combine innovations in lighting and product design to create a unique product which answers long standing performance related issues identified by security consultants, installers and end users alike. AEGIS UFLED is the only illuminator to feature Constant Light technology which automatically controls and adjusts light output to compensate for LED degradation. LED degradation is a problem common with all LED illuminators and results in poor light output, reduced image quality and reduced illumination range. Derwent have recently released a white light version of the popular AEGIS unit for security applications requiring visible light.  Net2 nano from Paxton Access uses secure wireless technology to communicate with the server PC via either a Net2Air USB bridge or a Net2Air ethernet bridge. This removes the need to run a dedicated data cable around a site and reduces installation time and costs considerably. Net2 nano are perfect for open plan offices and at access points where wiring may prove difficult. The Net2Air USB Bridge connects directly to the server PC and has a wireless range of up to 30m. The Net2Air Ethernet Bridge has the same range but extends the capability of Net2 nano using an existing Ethernet network.
