|ASUSTOR will provide live demonstrations of brand new functionality from its ADM 2.2 firmware upgrade
ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, is showcasing its unique series of NAS devices at CeBIT 2014 in Hannover, Germany. ASUSTOR's 2/3/6 series devices come equipped with Intel Atom dual core processors and were designed for both home and small business users. Also being exhibited are two brand new rackmount models from ASUSTOR's 7 series, the AS7009R supporting 9 disk bays and the AS7012R supporting 12 disk bays. The 7 series was created especially for enterprise use and will be available in two different powerful hardware specifications (Intel Haswell Xeon processor/4GB built-in memory and Core i processor/2GB built-in memory). Designed with excellent hardware expandability, the 7 series supports expandable ECC memory up to 32 GB, features 4 high speed Ethernet ports, 2 PCIe slots, 2 eSATA ports and 4 HighSpeed USB 3.0 ports, and further supports 10GbE ports giving enterprise users the flexibility to increase bandwidth and performance when dealing with large amounts of data.
Additionally, at CeBIT, ASUSTOR will also be providing live demonstrations of brand new functionality from its ADM 2.2 firmware upgrade featuring the powerful File Explorer, exclusive MyArcrhive technology, comprehensive Windows ACL support and shared folder permission settings, and brand new support for Bluetooth devices. Furthermore, a variety of Apps developed in-house by ASUSTOR will also be introduced including Takeasy, VPN Server, Mail Server, Photo Gallery, HiDrive, Google Drive, ASUSTOR Portal, new functions for Surveillance Center and the newest mobile apps AiMusic, AiWatch and AiPhoto along with the Download Helper web browser add-on.
