Pansun Infotech - new licence partner of LEGIC Identsystems to manufacture LEGIC based identification credentials
Beijing Pansun Infotech Co., Ltd is a new licence partner of Switzerland based LEGIC Identsystems Ltd, the leading manufacturer of contactless smart card technology for personal identification. The provider of RFID tags, microprocessor cards, readers, biometric modules and card printers therefore banks on the latest LEGIC advant technology. In particular, Pansun will draw benefits by integrating LEGIC in its power meter solutions. Additionally, the Chinese manufacturer will produce LEGIC based identification credentials such as company cards with integrated PKI functionalities.

Founded in 2001, Pansun Infotech today is a well-established manufacturer of smart cards and self-developed applications for the business and private sector. Among other applications, the company has recently focused on the development of power meters and appropriate prepaid cards for residential areas. With the LEGIC partnership, Pansun can integrate LEGIC advant technology in their power meter modules as well as in cards for secure personal identification and can benefit from a flexible state-of-the-art technology.

"The flexibility of LEGIC advant allows us to integrate the technology in many different applications such as our power meter solutions for business and private environments", says Simon Gao, General Manager of Pansun Infotech. "LEGIC is a well-known technology in China whose benefits are more and more required by our customers. The partnership is a significant step for us to be prepared for future market demands."

Dr Otto Eggimann, Vice President Sales and Business Development of LEGIC: "The latest business development shows that our technology becomes increasingly important and versatile also in Asia. I am convinced that these encouraging emerging application areas will continue and we look forward to a long-lasting and fruitful partnership with Pansun."
