The Verint Nextiva S1700e Ethernet video server is designed for high-resolution video monitoring and surveillance applications. The S1700e delivers 4CIF, 25 frames per second (fps), MPEG-4-based video over 10/100Base-T networks using cat 5, fiber optic, and wireless media. The S1700e is well suited for applications in which the server is installed at the camera location, because it leverages the embedded LAN infrastructure. The S1700e is built on open standards and is firmware upgradeable for long-term investment protection.
