The TIRIS RFID system for automatic consumer recognition consists of keyring tags, vehicle tags and RF reader electronics. The reader system has a digital control board, a transmitter module, 2 antenna tuning boards, 2 receiver antennas, 1 receiver module, 2 benzel boards with a microreader and a keyring antenna. The tags comprise two main components; an antenna to communicate via radio signals with the reader, and an integrated circuit to store a unique ID code.
