Model Info

The DSX-LAN(M) module is used to connect a Master Controller to the Host or Comm Server PC over a Local or Wide Area Network. The DSX-LAN(M) receives communication and converts it to RS-232 or RS485 that connects directly to the Master Controller. The DSX-LAN(M) is powered from the DSX Controller which can provide battery backup. The DSX-LAN is IP communications module and DSX-LAN(M) has dial up modem backup. The DSX-LAN can also be used at Slave Controllers with the use of the PC Master Software. The DSX-LAN(M) is designed to fit in the same equipment cabinet as the DSX-1048 and DSX-1022 controllers.
