International airport in Middle East deploys March Networks' IP CCTV solution for enhanced security

March Networks® announced recently that CIEFFE has been selected to provide the Al Ain International Airport with an IP video surveillance solutionMarch Networks®, a leading provider of intelligent IP video and business analysis applications, announced recently that CIEFFE, a March Networks Company, has been selected to provide the Al Ain International Airport with an IP video surveillance solution for enhanced security in the authority's terminal and cargo facilities.

Al Ain International Airport, located in the United Arab Emirates, chose Al Fahad Smart Systems, an experienced CIEFFE systems integrator, to deploy the solution as part of a phased implementation.  The initial rollout includes advanced video management software, encoders, recording systems and more than 400 surveillance cameras.  It will deliver sophisticated video monitoring and event management capabilities and can support advanced video analytics, such as left object detection and people tracking.

"Al Ain International Airport selected the CIEFFE offering based on its scalable architecture and excellent video resolution," said Mr. Khaled Al Ali, CEO, Al Fahad Smart Systems.  "With this solution in place, the authority can expand its surveillance network cost-effectively and take advantage of additional IP video technologies and applications as required to maintain its very high security standards."

March Networks President and CEO, Peter Strom, said, "We are pleased to provide Al Ain International Airport with a high performance IP video solution that meets the demanding requirements of public transportation and critical infrastructure security.  We look forward to expanding our footprint in the Middle East further in the months to come."
