

Granta 5 is a high-end access control system, based on Microsoft SQL databases. The system architecture is highly flexible, very powerful and extremely secure, providing the ability to deliver "bespoke" system functions at "off the peg prices".
The structure of the Granta System is modular at all levels, allowing configurations for applications of all sizes and degrees of complexity:
The whole system is managed by the Granta 5 core software package. The PC is used to set up and monitor the system, but does not normally take part in the access control decisions.
The 4880 software contains a number of elements providing extensive functionality and flexibility of installation. Alarm graphics, video badging, multiple hardware systems, X-Link, image monitor, visitor manager, CLIC I/O programming, 48 hour (basic T&A), DVR viewer, CCTV manager and database partitioning are all included in the software package.
