Siemens' new ATI5100 terminal is designed to make it easier and more convenient for SiPass integrated system users to manage the intrusion detection areas in their buildings.

SiPass integrated is a powerful security management system from Siemens Building Technologies. As well as offering state-of-the-art access control functionality, the system can provide intrusion detection functionality via its optional Intrusion module. When the Intrusion module is installed, motion detectors can be connected directly to the SiPass integrated system, which can then be used as both an access control and an intrusion detection system.

The new ATI5100 terminal connects directly to the advanced central controller in the SiPass integrated system and makes it possible for authorized users to interact with the system via the keypad to activate or deactivate the intrusion detection functionality in some or all parts of their site or sites, according to their specified privileges. Options include the capacity to arm/disarm a complete area, the perimeter only or the entire site.
