Honeywell Security announced that WIN-PAK PRO Central Station was short-listed for best new access control award at IFSEC.

WIN-PAK PRO Central Station provides a centrally managed access control solution that integrates all the components of each individual access system in to one user interface.  It automates many of the day-to-day access control functions, saving end users time and money by enabling operators, or even dealers, to manage the programming and system changes of multiple locations from one site. 

For dealers, this new software creates increased business opportunities, through the management and monitoring of end user locations.  Software is not required at end user locations, thus removing the requirement for expensive PCs at site and additional software training with the end user.  WIN-PAK PRO Central Station aims to assist dealer profitability by providing value added features that can be passed on to the customer and generate recurring revenue streams, including the following:

• Automatic notification of alarm status at any site.
• Remote monitoring of CCTV images from an integrated Digital Video Recorder (DVR), for quick and easy response, verification and tracking of alarms.
• Web browser interface for daily tasks, such as adding or deleting security passes, creating photo ID badges, defining user access levels and generating standard reports.
• The ability to create additional customised reports, according to the needs of the end user, which can be sent via email or fax.
• Reduced service calls because of continuous monitoring.

WIN-PAK PRO Central Station runs on Windows® XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2003 Server.
