Vicon has introduced five new cameras all of which incorporate the very latest megapixel technology.

Vicon's 1.3 megapixel cameras utilise ‘progressive scan' to deliver cleaner images and more defined imaged on moving objects.

The range includes an impact-resistant Day/Night dome and a bullet camera with built-in IR LEDs - both of which are suitable for outdoor applications. Also, in the range are two box cameras (colour and day/night versions) and an indoor colour dome. Common to all of these superb cameras are the following key features:

• User selection of image resolution - from 640 x 480 to 1280 x 1024
• Progressive scan images
• Choice of M-JPEG or MPEG-4 compression
• PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) or via an included 12 volt power supply
• Lens included with each camera
