RIVA's new product line combines high quality IP cameras and IP encoder with integrated video analytics in each product at a price of a standard camera.
The RIVA product range covers all variants of high-performance box cameras, domes, PTZ domes, thermal and bullet cameras for indoor/outdoor use as well as encoder series. RIVA cameras and encoders are already equipped with an intelligent video analytics (VCA*) covering brilliant images at resolutions from VGA to 2 MP / Full HD 1080p.
RIVA RC1100M is a high performance 2 Megapixel IP box camera with embedded 3D video analytics (VCA) especially designed for applications at highly frequented places and important vertical markets (logistics, retail, traffic monitoring systems). The camera disposes of a special housing that dissipates heat more effectively and is ideal for indoor applications. In combination with a weatherproof housing, it is also suitable for any outdoor usage.
The camera offers simultaneous Dual Stream of MJPG and H.264. RC1100M offers a variety of onboard features such as digital in- and output, a USB 2.0 port, a SD card slot, and 2-way audio at no additional costs. The setup menu is easily configurable via intuitive web browser interface.
The onboard video content analytics (VCA) is easily upgradable with additional VCA filters (smoke/fire, perimeter intrusion, speed sensitive object tracking, directional detection, color filter etc.) for individual requirements. Disposing of a self-learning tracking algorithm, the false alarm rate will be reduced to an absolute minimum and prevents the transmission of large video data containing little or no process information. This saves network and computer power as well as high costs for storage media.
The standard license of the comprehensive, intelligent video analysis VCA* is already included at no extra cost. With optional license package, 3D video analysis differentiates between people, vehicles and other objects, thus preventing false alarms caused e.g. by animals. A self-learning algorithm automatically adapts to environmental changes, ignoring light changes due to cloud formation, artificial light and auto-iris camera operation as well as repetitive movements such as swaying trees or rippling water.
