The introduction of the Conway Titan 250 dome means that users now have a choice of installation when choosing a Titan dome. Previously, mounting a Titan 200 dome on a column mounting bracket meant that there would be a small blind spot. Now with the introduction of the Titan 250 there is no blind spot and the operator can not only view a perfect panoramic area but can see right below the unit as well. This is often a necessity where the installation can come under attack.
As with the Titan 200, the 250 features a metallic construction (aluminium as standard with stainless steel option). It also has a flat, optically correct screen which can even have a wiper to ensure the Sony day/night camera inside always has the best possible view.
The embedding of third-party protocols and the open nature of Conway's control protocol also means that upgrades to existing sites can be straightforward. Conway is also working with a number of associate companies such as IndigoVision to allow the Titan range to integrate seamlessly with their products.
