ACT launches range of MIFARE DESFire EV1 Readers for use with the ACTpro access control solution

Access Control Technology (ACT) Ltd. has enhanced their MIFARE product range with the launch of the ACTpro DESFire EV1 readers. DESFire EV1 offers a highly secure smart card application and is ideal when there is a requirement for using the smart card for multiple applications e.g. access control, cashless vending, smart copying / printing.

MIFARE® DESFire EV1 features mutual three pass authentication using 128 bit AES encryption.  DESFire EV1 cards can hold up to 28 different applications and 32 files per application. Each MIFARE DESFire EV1 card has a unique serial number. It fully complies with the requirements for fast and highly secure data transmission, flexible memory organisation and interoperability with existing infrastructure.

• Operate with DESFire EV1 cards however in serial mode they will accept any MIFARE card

• IP67 rating (indoor / outdoor)
