
Adam Wiseberg was Chairman of the BSIA from July 2006 to July 2008. He has been an active member of the BSIA CCTV Section for 10 years and was its Chairman from 2001 until July 2006. In his role, Adam has been the driving force behind the development of landmark standards such as BS 8418 for detector activated CCTV, occupying the Chair of the BSI committee for CCTV Standards since 2001 and played a key role as a member of the Cenelec Committee for European CCTV Standards. He has also worked with the Board of Skills for Security - a skills and standards setting body for the sector, writes regularly on issues in the CCTV industry and is much in demand as a speaker at CCTV and security seminars.
He joined CCTV manufacturer AD Group in 1997 as Sales and Marketing Director for RemGuard Visual Management - a pioneer of remotely monitored CCTV in the UK, becoming Managing Director in 1999. Also in 1999, he joined the Board of AD Group working closely with founder Mike Newton. Together, they took the Group turnover from under £1 million to nearly £90 million in 5 years, winning the Deloitte Indy 100 award for fastest growing UK company in 2004 and a host of other growth and management awards since then.
Adam Wiseberg left AD Group in December 2008, after 11 years with the company.
