TSS appoints sales manager to drive UK mobile CCTV business

Published on 26 September 2007

Traffic Safety Systems (TSS) - part of AD Group - has appointed Phil Frost as its UK Sales Manager to further expand its already successful mobile CCTV business in the police, emergency services and local authority sectors.

Phil brings an impressive track record to the role having been involved with the motor vehicle industry for more than 37 years, 17 of those in a technical sales environment.  For the last nine-and-a-half years he was at Federal Signal, which specializes in visual and audible warning equipment (flashing lights and sirens), initially as Regional Manager for the UK and Ireland - focused on emergency service customers - and later with added responsibility for Scandinavia.  More recently, Phil was involved in developing the "amber light" market for the company working with local authorities and vehicle manufacturers.

Said Phil, commenting on his appointment, says, "I am delighted to be joining TSS at this time, having been impressed with the excellent reputation of its mobile CCTV systems and the extensive support it offers to customers."

"Looking ahead, I believe that my experience and technical background will be a definite advantage and, working with the team, feel confident that there are significant opportunities to increase the take-up of the company's latest PatrolVu mobile digital CCTV solution in the UK, whether it be tackling anti-social behaviour or other key issues such as fly-tipping.  I am also keen to expand the use of TSS technology for driver training, building on the already successful programmes underway with a number of fire authorities."
