AD Group launches video channel on YouTubePublished on 9 March 2009
The channel, which has just gone 'live', is designed to give customers access to the latest promotional videos, issue-based seminars, product demos and presentations from AD Group and its subsidiaries including: AD Aviation, AD Aerospace, AD Network Video, AD Mobile, ChipWrights, Dedicated Micros, D-Tec, ISD, RemGuard and TSS. In addition, there will be regular uploads of in-car footage from the Le Mans Series and Le Mans 24 Hours endurance races, captured by the motorsport variant of the award-winning TransVu mobile CCTV system. Content already available on the channel includes: a keynote presentation from Mike Newton the CEO of AD Group and founder of Dedicated Micros; a fully narrated lecture on High Definition CCTV and why H.264 video compression is not necessarily the best option for CCTV; an exhibition-style presentation on Dedicated Micros capabilities; a night vision camera demonstration from ISD, and footage of last year's Le Mans 24 Hours when Mike Newton's racecar crashed-out in spectacular fashion at 270 km/h. Said Pauline Norstrom, Director of Worldwide Marketing at AD Group: "We are constantly looking at new ways to enhance the information we provide to our customers. The YouTube Channel is an invaluable addition which has the potential to deliver, in a convenient video-based format, the latest material to assist with purchasing decisions; act as an educational resource and address key industry issues. The current content is just a taster of what is to come we have planned in regular updates and hope to offer video demonstrations of new systems as and when they come to market." Subscribers to the AD Group YouTube channel will be automatically notified when new content appears. |
