Dallmeier presented its CCTV/IP video surveillance solutions for gambling halls at IMA 2008

Published on 31 January 2008

Dallmeier CasinoCamDallmeier, the leading global supplier of network based video surveillance systems for casinos and gambling halls, has been developing and producing high-quality comprehensive solutions for the CCTV/IP area for over 20 years.

The Dallmeier solutions can be ideally used as stand-alone devices and can then be easily integrated into existing systems and networks thanks to the open system architecture.  All Dallmeier solutions are characterised by reliability, user-friendliness and scalability.

Advantages of the Dallmeier IP surveillance solution:

  • Optimal picture quality owing to Cam_inPIX® technology and specific presets for gambling halls
  • High performance through real-time split: 16 x CVBS split possible
  • User-friendly, intuitive graphical user interfaces
  • Convenient display of all gambling halls via internet
  • Mobile access via PDA
  • Easy service and maintenance: easy-change functionality in case of hard disk failure
  • Investment protection: tested stability and reliability of all components guarantee a long-term availability of the complete system
  • Flexible and future-proof: owing to the open system architecture adjustments and extensions can easily be made at any time
  • PRemote and DualStream allow for different bit rates and frame rates for recording and trans- mission, depending on individual requirements (lower network load)

Product highlights at IMA 2008:

H.264 real-time recorder DMS 240 "In Memory of Leonardo"

The DMS 240 "In Memory of Leonardo" is a H.264 real-time recorder with up to 24 video and audio inputs.  Picture quality, recording speed and audio recording can be individually configured for each channel.  Real-time split view is also possible via the network, using either LAN / WLAN, GSM / GPRS / UMTS or the internet (via PDallmeier DMS 240View, browser or PRemote).  The multi-user functionality is achieved through network streaming (multicast / unicast) and alarm messages can be transmitted using e-mail or SMS.  The SEDOR software for intelligent event detection and detection of camera sabotage is integrated by default.

Cameras with Cam_inPIX® technology

All Dallmeier CasinoCams® are equipped with Cam_inPIX® technology. Therefore, even situations with a great range in contrast can be recorded and documented in previously unseen picture qualities.  Moreover, Dallmeier has customised the cameras to meet the specific requirements of gambling halls. With the Dallmeier CasinoCam®, the company offers a special-purpose camera, which, owing to the specifically developed software, is ideally able to adjust itself to the different scenarios found in gambling halls.

The 'Slot Machine' preset, for instance, is ideally suited for monitoring slot machines because different colours, dazzling, flashing and reflections are  perfectly processed, thus putting an end to continually adjusting exposure times and considerably extending the service life of the CasinoCams®.
