Attendees to the session learnt how video analytics are changing the physical security industry by making video surveillance proactive, automatically triggering real-time alerts when threats are detected, and by enabling intelligent forensic search and investigation. Pfeiffer discussed the significant return on investment from video analytics, including guard augmentation and remote monitoring.
