SALTO present new access control concept at Security 2008 in EssenPublished on 3 November 2008
For the first time ever worldwide, the company chose Essen to present its new concept in access control that allows users to ‘jump' up to the next level of control, as their security needs change. This unique new networked lockset can be used for a wide range of applications and is the first RFID system that can be upgraded at any time. Users can choose from a simple self programmable system that needs no computer to manage it, through a highly capable mid-range ROM system up to a high performance data on card system using SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) technology that allows users to control all the doors in an entire building or group of buildings from a single PC. Marc Handels, Marketing and Sales Director at SALTO Systems, says: "Flexible, versatile RFID systems have real value as part of a professional access control system. As we've seen here at Essen, the highly successful launch of our new XS4 RFID product proves that our cutting edge solutions are addressing both the current and future demands and requirements of our customers." Other highlights on the stand included the new SALTO Advanced Panic Bar Solution (SAPS), access control Totems, Mullion readers, and RFID E-cylinders. |
