Anthony Reyes to keynote at co-located Infosecurity NY and ISC East

Published on 8 August 2007

This year's co-located ISC East and Infosecurity events will kick-off on September 11th, 2007 with keynote speaker Anthony Reyes.  The former NYPD computer crimes detective, who now serves as President for the High Technology Crime Investigation Association and chairs the Education and Training Group for the National Institute of Justice's Electronic Crime Partner Initiative, is well equipped to address professionals in all sectors of security.  Reyes will provide a unique and exclusive perspective on today's most pressing security concerns for all security professionals.

"We're thrilled to have Mr. Reyes provide the keynote presentation," said Dean Russo, Group Vice President, Life Safety and Security portfolio, Reed Exhibitions"We couldn't have found a better person given Mr. Reyes's extensive experience in both law enforcement and information technology.  He truly understands modern security threats.  His expertise, along with his personal connection to New York, makes him an ideal keynote."

Reyes's 20 years' combined experience in law enforcement and IT security sectors, stemming from his service with the NYPD, and as an alternative member of Governor George E. Pataki's Cyber-Security Task Force, solidify his expertise and unique perspective.  He also helped develop the cyber counter-terrorism investigations training program and co-wrote Cyber Crime Investigation: Bridging the Gap between Security Professionals.  Currently, Reyes is in touch the security through his service as the Chief Executive Officer for the Arc Enterprises of New York, Inc. and he teaches at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

In addition to the strong introduction from Reyes, both ISC and Infosecurity New York will feature a special one-of a kind Security Operations Center (SOC) produced by IPVS.  The SOC is the first ever, multi-vendor, integration of physical security and enterprise IT products.  Covering over 6,000 sq. ft of floor space, the SOC will demonstrate the latest technology to deal with the most complicated of threats within the worlds of both IT and physical security.

ISC East is the premier event for Northeast security professionals providing innovations and solutions.  More than 400 leading manufacturers all the newest and most relevant security technologies and products will display the newest products in features to over 10,000 attendees.

Infosecurity NY is one of the largest shows dedicated to information security, going beyond presentation.  Infosecurity NY teaches industry professionals about the latest products and helps them adopt the latest technology.

Both ISC East and Infosecurity NY are produced by Reed Exhibitions, the world's leading organiser of trade and consumer events.  Reed's network extends to 65 countries and produces 460 events worldwide.
