Avigilon's surveillance system at the Dallas Love Field Airport sets benchmark for advanced security systemsPublished on 26 May 2010
Avigilon, the performance and value leader in high definition (HD) and megapixel video surveillance systems, announced that one of its flagship customers, Love Field Airport in Dallas, Texas, is being showcased to a delegation of airport executives from Latin America. Sponsored by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency and managed by the American Association of Airport Executives, the Dallas Love Field airport tour will provide delegates with the opportunity to learn about successful airport modernisation projects, including the development of advanced safety and security procedures and environmental standards as well as upgrades to airport ground services and maintenance practices.
"Before the launch of the Modernisation Programme, Love Field had four separate video surveillance systems which made it challenging for law enforcement to monitor activities and airport officials to maintain these systems. The Love Field Modernisation Programme is transforming the Dallas Love Field airport into a benchmark for best practices in airport efficiency, service, and security," said Dave Tynan, Vice-President of global sales and marketing for Avigilon. "We are honoured to have the opportunity to also showcase the benefits of the Avigilon HD Surveillance System to the delegation of Latin American airport executives."
