IDL wins The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise 2009, category International TradePublished on 19 November 2009
The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the UK's most prestigious awards for business performance. They recognise and reward outstanding achievement by UK companies. The awards are made each year by The Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister who is assisted by an Advisory Committee that includes representatives of government, industry and commerce, and the trade unions. Integrated Design, manufacturer of Fastlane entrance control solutions, has been awarded the International Trade category for demonstrating a substantial growth in export over a 3-year period. This has been achieved by expanding its network of overseas distributors and partners to Korea, Russia, Australia and New Zealand, as well as building upon its existing dealer bases in North America, Japan, Middle East and Europe. Between April 2005 and April 2008 IDL had significantly increased worldwide revenue.
