EVT, a developer of networked video management and recording software, announced the appointment of SKJ Electronics & Systems, as its distributor in the rapidly developing security solutions market in India.

SKJ is a leading integrator of security systems with over 12 years experience in security and surveillance business and a strong presence in the Indian market.  The company has business offices in New Delhi and Mumbai as well as sales and outsourced service centers in 60 cities serving a large variety of industries.  According to the British Security Industry Association, the Indian security market is one of the fastest growing markets in the world, estimated at more than $500m.

Under the partnership, SKJ will distribute EVT's open platform Vertex and Apex network video management and recording software to their customers in the private, and public sector.  EVT's advanced integrations allow SKJ to provide "tailored" off the shelf systems combined with the appropriate hardware and video analytics.

Security operators in India will also benefit from EVT's patent pending Image Content Navigation and 2.5D Live Video Maps which provide improved site perspective, greater navigation, fast and simple event resolution in real-time and in post event investigations.

"Video management software is increasingly crucial for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations surveillance systems," said Rahat Jain, CTO of SKJ.  "This partnership will enable us to deliver functional and reliable video surveillance solutions to address organizations security and safety needs."

"We are very pleased to announce this partnership with SKJ, which has the know how to design and support the needs of the Indian market and shares our same vision: to simplify video management," said Oren Feldmann, VP Marketing and Sales EVT.
