Emizon raises the bar

Published on 10 April 2008

At IFSEC 2008, Emizon will be demonstrating the continuing success of its fully managed dual-path signalling service designed for today's digital networksAt IFSEC 2008, Emizon will be demonstrating the continuing success of its fully managed dual-path signalling service designed for today's digital networks, and why so many installers are realising the benefits in terms of ease of installation and enhanced customer service.  It will also be revealing details of its collaboration with eight of the leading alarm panel manufacturers, and highlighting a new cash-back incentive for installers.

"Emizon has always been about working collaboratively to support the security industry migrating to the digital environment, easily and cost-effectively, whilst protecting the security needs and business interests of customers for the long term," explains Bob Tuck, Managing Director.

Since its launch at IFSEC in May 2007, Emizon has sold in excess of 3,000 units and is fast becoming the largest and most widely used IP signalling service in the UK with over 120 installer companies actively using the service.  January 2008 saw the launch of two key value added services for the Honeywell Galaxy and Texecom panels; an upload/download (UDL) from the panel to the alarm installer's service software, and full extended alarm format (SIA, Contact ID) capability.

"These two features enable direct connectivity to the alarm panel which in turn means not only faster and more effective remote servicing, but also help installers enhance their competitiveness by improving customer service and reducing costs," Bob adds.

As a result of further collaboration direct connectivity to the panel now extends to Bosch Security Systems, Guardall, Honeywell, Risco, Coopers, Castle Care-Tech and Pyronix, all working with Emizon to make life easier for installers.  Emizon is also looking to further add value to its installer relationships with a new incentive scheme.

"The incentive is very straightforward," Bob says. "We are offering installers £20 cash-back for every Emizon 21 connection they make.  The money goes directly to them; there is no complicated sign up and no onerous paperwork.  It is as simple as that.  It is all further evidence of how we continue to put installers at the centre of our plans for the future."
