Bell Security appoints Syd Heals to board of directors

Syd (Peter) Heals has been appointed to the board of directors of Bell Group Limited and Bell Security Limited. This board oversees Bell's UK security and fire systems businesses within the corporate structure of parent organisation Securitas Systems AB.

Syd Heals has been Chief Operating Officer of Bell Security's Commercial Security and Fire UK systems operations since January 2006.  He entered the industry in 1978 and joined Bell Security in 1990, where he has gained extensive commercial and technical experience - particularly pioneering networked/IP solutions both in the UK and internationally.

In mid-2007 Syd became one of the founding directors of CameraWatch, the organisation dedicated to promoting understanding of CCTV systems and their compliance in the UK.
