 Shane Bates, Executive Vice President,
Strategy and Global Markets
Brivo Systems, LLC, the leader in Web applications for access control and security systems, today announced the appointment of Shayne P. Bates, CPP, CISM, CHS-V, as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Global Markets.  Bates will expand global partnerships and establish the Brivo brand and presence in strategic international markets.

"The demand for our product line in specialty and global markets requires specialised knowledge of partnership relationships and extensive international experience- Shayne brings a wealth of those skills and more," said Steve Van Till, Brivo President and CEO.  "We pay close attention to the requirements of our customers and as they globalise, we recognise the need to support them in their chosen markets by establishing partnerships and resources to meet their needs."

Bates is celebrating 30 years in business; he has operated internationally in various roles in the IT and security industries of the US, Australia, and New Zealand.  Recently, he has been serving as a consultant to leading US federal agencies and corporations, delivering security advice and design engineering expertise.

Bates commented: "The comprehensive Brivo offering enables us to deliver value to customers well beyond the realm of products and software.  We're operating in a time when clients seek ever more effective tools and services to implement and manage their security programs.  We're committed to expanding Brivo's presence globally with key partners to ensure our customers have both global and local support to provide them with the superior Brivo end user experience whether they are in the US, the UK, or Australia."
