Artec technologies continues to expand its marketing

Published on 25 September 2006

Artec technologies inc., located in Diepholz, Germany, continues its course of expansion by further extending the marketing of its products.  For this, the company has been able to win over Paul André de Jong as its new Vice-President of Sales & Marketing.  Beginning on 01.10.2006, he will assume responsibility for all of artec's distribution and marketing activities.  For video branch insiders, De Jong is no stranger.  Most recently he was the sole managing director of a well-known company in the area of video surveillance technology with a turnover reaching two-digit million figures.

Thomas Hoffmann, CEO of artec technologies, comments: "With Mr. de Jong's entry into our company, we intend to secure our continued success and give full focus to our plans for expansion.  He will be a strong addition to our management team.  We are looking forward to working together and are confident that together we will achieve our goals."  Paul André de Jong adds: "I have consciously decided on a company which in every way contains within itself an enormous potential for development.  Marketing the XentauriX and MULTIEYE product lines world-wide is a true challenge"

Paul André de Jong, born in 1966 in the Netherlands, studied Marketing and Distribution and is the natural-born salesman.  As the new Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, he will assume the responsibility for all distribution and marketing activities at artec technologies.  Starting in 1988, he worked as the export manager for a German pipe and tube manufacturer with its main emphasis on the automobile industry.  After 1993, he became active as the marketing manager of a supply company in the area of metal construction and was decisively involved in the development of that company.  In 1999, he changed over to the video branch.  As the sole managing director, he set up the European headquarters for one of the largest Taiwanese manufacturers in the area of the video surveillance technology.  His hobbies include skiing and sailing.
