IMCCA to host Collaborative Conferencing Pavilion at ISE 2007

Published on 2 November 2006

The Interactive Multimedia & Collaborative Communications Alliance (IMCCA) will be hosting a Collaborative Conferencing Pavilion at Integrated Systems Europe 2007.

The Pavilion is the ideal platform for companies to showcase solutions and technologies in video conferencing, audio conferencing and data/web conferencing in a dedicated area.  The pavilion will encompass a presentation room where participating companies will also have the opportunity to be included in the scheduled programme of seminars to visitors.  The pavilion will give visitors an ideal opportunity to see and learn about technologies for implementing video, audio and data/web conferencing solutions, related accessories, supplies and the newest technologies in videoconferencing.

However the pavilion is not just an extension of the exhibition as Carol Zelkin, Executive Director at IMCCA explains: "Any form of business communication including business conference calls, Web Conferencing and Video Conferencing is a key market that unites the corporate business, IT and AV industries.  By working together, Collaborative Conferencing can create the perfect platform to harmonise the gathering and sharing of corporate information.  Whether the meeting is local to the area or indeed requires the gathering of individuals from around the world, the application of Collaborative Conferencing allows communications between businesses and individuals to be run seamlessly from a conference room, with perfect clarity."

Mike Blackman, Managing Director for ISE believes that there are many exciting opportunities that Collaborative Conferencing can offer the industry and how it can integrate with the AV systems industry.  "Since the first edition of ISE back in 2004, I have noticed an increasing number of visitors who are specifically coming to the show to look at new and innovative ways to leverage AV systems technologies to enhance the way they communicate both internally within the organisation and externally with clients and associates.  I am therefore delighted to see that, with the support of IMCCA, we can offer a dedicated and focused pavilion which will offer technical and creative solutions for this expanding market."

The Collaborative Conferencing pavilion will comprise of a series of leading suppliers who will be showcasing their products within a special exhibition area.  There will be a series of workshops, which will cover technologies such as instant messaging, conferencing (web, audio and video conferencing), VoIP and converged networks.
